Healthcare Platform Development for Remote Audio Therapy
Developing a healthcare platform allowed Swiss company AVWF Schweiz GmbH to move therapy from in-person sessions to a fully remote format.
Pineparks designed and built a secure platform for remote audio therapy: doctors assign structured neurostimulation therapy courses to patients, and patients complete daily audio sessions remotely, from any device, without needing to create an account.

The Challenge
For AVWF, this was a step toward digital transformation therapy that was previously only available in person became accessible to patients remotely, under full physician control.
AVWF developed an audio therapy method for patients with ADHD. The therapy consists of daily audio sessions that patients must listen to in a strict sequence on specific days.
Before this project, the company had no digital platform for delivering therapeutic content to patients. They needed a solution that could simultaneously:
- Give patients simple access to therapy without registration or complex interfaces
- Protect audio files from downloading and unauthorized access
- Preserve the original sound quality without compression or conversion
- Allow doctors to see whether patients are actually completing their therapy
- Automatically enforce therapy rules: session sequence, completion thresholds, missed sessions
- Be ready to scale to other clinics and therapy programs
The complexity of the project lay in combining medical requirements for therapy control, secure content delivery, and growth-ready architecture. In essence, this was healthcare platform development where precision and security are just as important as usability all within a single MVP.
Solution & Delivery
Pineparks developed a secure web platform consisting of three parts.
Doctor and admin panel. This is essentially the development of an internal business system for AVWF a tool through which doctors manage patients, assign therapy courses, upload audio files, and track each patient’s progress in real time.

Patient player. Patients receive a secure link from their doctor and open a personalized page with their therapy plan. No registration, no passwords. The screen shows the current session with a play button, a day-by-day therapy plan, and overall progress.

Secure audio delivery system. Audio files are stored in private cloud storage. Every time a patient presses “play,” the system verifies their access and generates a temporary link that is valid for only a few minutes. Direct file downloads are impossible.
Key Features
Access without registration. Patients receive a personalized link from their doctor and go directly to their therapy page. No account, no passwords.
Daily therapy plan. The doctor assigns a course and selects a start date. The platform automatically generates a day-by-day plan and unlocks each session strictly on the assigned day.
High-fidelity audio. The platform preserves the original therapeutic format — uncompressed WAV files at 48kHz / 24-bit. No conversion, no quality loss.
Secure streaming. Audio files are never accessible through permanent links. Temporary authorization is generated for each playback session.
Progress tracking. The player sends listening data back to the system: start time, pauses, completion percentage, total listening time. Doctors see the real picture of each patient’s therapy participation.
Automated therapy rules. The platform automates business processes related to therapy control: 95% session completion threshold, one-time postponement by one day, automatic cancellation upon repeated non-compliance.
Notifications. Email and SMS access links, session reminders, missed session alerts.

Development Process
- Research and planning. Translated the client’s business requirements into technical rules: therapy workflow, patient access logic, content protection requirements, and future growth planning.
- Architecture design. Divided the system into three layers: admin panel, patient player, and secure storage. Each part can be developed independently.
- Security and streaming strategy. Designed a system of temporary signed URLs: files remain private, access is verified server-side, and playback authorization is issued for a short period only.
- Data architecture. The data structure was designed with future expansion in mind: multi-organization support, new user roles, detailed analytics, and subscription models.
- Notification system. Multi-channel notification architecture (email + SMS) was built in from day one access links, reminders, and missed session alerts.
- Administrative interface. The admin panel supports current operations and is easily extensible for future functionality.
Results
Pineparks created the technical foundation for a secure healthcare platform that combines simplicity for patients, control for doctors, and readiness to scale.
The project became a key step in the digital transformation of AVWF’s business from having no digital therapy channel to fully automated business processes for therapy control and delivery. The project was designed to launch an MVP quickly while preserving a clear path toward long-term platform growth.
